Custom Built Pelagic 8.5m Built and Designed by Matt himself! After 10 years of running fishing charters, Matts idea of building the perfect fishing charter vessel was always an imaginary dream in his mind.

until one day his dream became reality. it all started with a pen to paper drawing a rough sketch planning exactly how to build I boat that was big enough to still tow as Reel Time Fishing prides itself on not being locked down to one area and needs to be where the fish are whether that be Westernport bay port Phillip bay or portland.

After getting all the relevant information from Vic Roads Regarding Dimensions/Weights for safe towing practices the size was determined! 8.5m L with a 3.2m W.

Within in this space Matt had to achieve so much, I wanted to get 10 Passengers all comfortably around the Vessel so walk around was my only option, Reducing the Cabin because of this design still needing space for a fully plumbed toilet room to have a nap or accommodate dry storage for Safety Equipment etc, A work area for Matt to Work his magic with all the Latest and greatest Furuno Electronics, Fish Finders, GPS, Radar, Auto Pilot to name a few! A lock up Wheelhouse a must.

Full Walk Around perfect for giving everyone plenty of room for fishing especially for Snapper & King George Whiting / Squid Charters with the added bonus of creating such an amazing Tool Targeting Yellow Tail King Fish in Victoria & Melbourne's Port Phillip Bay with 6 Passengers Jigging and creating a Giant Teaser this in turn making Reel Time Fishing Charters Vessel a King Fish Magnet!

Reel Time Fishing's Vessel has every Fishing Charter Scenario taken care of with carefully thought out and positioned fishing rod holders for every species that we target. With interchangeable Stainless Steel Racks for every season or species.

This is most of the action happens the floor plan is set up perfectly to adapt to every Fishing Charter option we may face including Rod Holders, Bait Boards, Deck Wash, Live Bait Tanks, Seating, easy access to Batteries and Fuel Inspection Ports, Live well and a Side Door for wheelchair access if needed or just pulling in Giant Portland Southern Blue Fin Tuna !

With many years experience on the water its such a hard choice to choose the exact Motor for the job with so many pros and cons. Minimal Downtime is critical, especially when conducting Fishing Charters in both Portland and Port Phillip Bay. I have for many years used Out Board Motors, in this case, I stuck with it! I haven't been disappointed with Twin 200HP Mercury Verado Four Stroke's being excellent for the job so far! Very Quiet, User-Friendly, Power Steering and full electronic Gears to make this Vessel so easy to manoeuvre!

This Vessel has used every inch to accommodate the fisherman meaning I have used every part of it to ensure that fishing room is the main focus. With the Cabin only just having enough space to store Safety gear and some Fishing Gear along with a full stand up Toilet which is a must for accommodating Women, Children and off course us blokes!

Every part of this vessel has been carefully thought out especially the wiring and electrical fit out with everything insulated easy access labelled and protected from salt water environment a big thank you to Nautek Marine for such an amazing effort in the planning and fit-out to Reel Time Fishing's No 1 Vessel.

Matt's Office Fitted out with the latest and greatest of all Furuno Products starting with his GPS not only for Finding your way home, added bonus of a 24NM Radar & Auto Pilot that plays a very important role in Navigating Port Phillip Bay, Western Port Bay and Portland in the event of Night Fishing or low light and Visibility!

Matt's Knowledge when it come's to his Furuno Sounder is second to none and his skills and technics rely on his ability to talk to his sounder and translate the images into whether or not he should fish a certain spot or not when it come's to Port Phillip Bay Snapper this tool prove's Critical to keep Matt and his Fishing charter Customers Happy day in day out!
