Port Phillip Bay Fishing Charters in Melbourne's Winter, Whiting & Squid prove to bring fun Fishing Charters to all of the Melbourne's much-loved clientele in Victoria, Matt Cini and the team have another successful winter whiting and squid fishing charter season for 2013 during the months of August and September.
With King George Whiting running hot in the early hrs of the morning and the best baits being fresh squid strips, with a cocktail of fresh mussels purchased from the Port Arlington Mussel Farm, this had the whiting going crazy in the Portsea and Sorrento areas, along with St Leonards being one of the hot spots for 2013 King George Whiting and Squid Fishing Charter season runs from August to September every year.
2013 was a very special WHiting season with some absolute cracking King George Whiting coming over the side of the boat, followed by some very big Squid or Calamari in September caught in the swan bay area and towards Queenscliff on the high tide casting size 3.5 Squid Jigs around over the weed beds with the tide change making this an almost guaranteed Squid Catch!
