In 2017 the Snapper Fishing Charters where steady with previous years providing an almost guaranteed bag out session for most trips providing the Barometer and weather was in our favour would generally have the time of there life, 2017, however, was still outstanding to say the very least, but the team and Matt Cini had to work much harder to keep these scores on the board with that said 2017 was a year where the fish stayed up in the northern parts of Port Phillip Bay longer than usual with cooler water temperature keeping them in the upper reaches longer.
Then later in the season these big schools of Snapper breezed through the Mordialloc and Frankston area very fast as the water temp went from being so cold to hot rapidly and the Snapper moved fast with it, the Snapper schooled up very thick in the very deep waters of Mornington where they made this area there home for most of the summer making out Jan to April Fishing Charters departing Martha Cove in Safety Beach a season to remember with most of our charter arriving back home with more than enough snapper to take home for a feed.
